Tom is a software engineer at Lyft on the Deploys team, building out tools to safely deploy changes to production. Before Lyft, Tom was working on infrastructure at financial services startup Simple, where he built a secure, fully encrypted and authenticated service mesh on top of Kubernetes using Envoy. Tom was a guest speaker at re:Invent 2014, where he spoke on his experience building infrastructure as code orchestration system at Simple.
